Fort Aguda :
Fort Aguda is a Portuguese architecture built in the 17th century. This fort was started in 1612 and to protect from the Dutch and Marathas. This stands at the mouth of Mandovi River. The fort walls are 5 meters high and 13 meters wide.
The fort is divided into two parts one is the upper part and the other is the watering station. An upper part belongs to the moat, lighthouse, and bastions. There is lighthouse was built in 1864 and is the oldest in Asia. You can climb the steps of the lighthouse and enjoy the view surrounded by lush green. This place is suitable for photography and videography. Many films also shot at this place.
The fort was a source of water supply to the ships passing that area. It has the capacity of storing 2,376,000 gallons of water and it stands biggest freshwater reservoirs of Asia.
Basilica Of Bom Jesus :
Basilica Of Bom Jesus is a famous church and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Monument built in the year 1594 and completed in 1605 which is
located in Old Goa in Bainguinim. This church is designed in the Portuguese architectural style, It looks beautiful. This church is also called as ‘Born Jesus’.
The Exterior of Church exhibits a non-plastered look whereas the interior displays a magnificent ornamented look. The front of the building has triangular roofing carved with ‘IHS’.The church with 183 feet length, 55 feet width and 61 feet in height. The main altar inside the church is 54 feet high and 30 feet broad.

Dudhsagar Falls or Sea of Milk is the highest fall having a height of 310 M and a width of 30 M located on the Mandovi River. It is a four-tiered waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary lies beside the waterfalls, at the border of Karnataka and Goa.
Dudhsagar Waterfall offers trekking starts from the Kuveshi Village. Tourists will enjoy this place. Opposite to waterfalls, there is a railway track offering excellent views. The best time to visit the fall in the rainy season. The trek from Castle Rock railway station to the falls is most interesting for trek lovers.
There is a natural pool at the base of the waterfalls during rock formation where tourists can take a swim and enjoy nature. The pool is filled with blue water. Its become a picnic spot and have fun with your family and friends.
There are 300 jeeps allowed per day and takes you into the sanctuary the jeep journey gives a different experience for visitors. Even there is train facility was stop at Dudhsagar railway station. The train journey is interesting and attracts many people with amazing views.
