Nizam Sagar Dam :
Nizam Sagar Dam is an Indian Dam which constructed across the Manjira River where tributary of the Godavari River built in the year 1923 located in Achampet Village in Nizamabad district.This dam is spread over 3 km length and constructed by Mir Osman Ali Khan. ruler of Hyderabad. The main reservior is used for irrigation purpose.
Nizam Sagar Dam is major source of water supply to twin cities like Hyderabad and Secunderabad. A hydro electric power station is also established near Hassanpally Village. Tourists will enjoy Boating here. There is an accommodation facilities near to Nizam Sagar Dam.A beautiful flower garden is maintained adjacent to the dam. Alisagar Reservoir :
Alisagar Reservoir is a picnic spot constructed by Nizams of Hyderabad in the year of 1931.This garden is spread over 33 acres and popular for tree house,small lake and deer park. The park serves as a good picnic spot for kids and families.Even it is a lift irrigation project were lift canal originates from back water of Pochampadu Dam.

Pachampad Dam :
Pachampad Dam is also called as Sri Ram Sagar Project built on the Godavari River which is located in Nizamabad District of Telangana.This project was laid by prime minister of India Sri Jawaharlal Nehru in 1963. This dam has a capacity of 75 billion cubic feet with 42 gates.There is a hydroelectric plant working at the dam with 9 MW capacity.
This is an irrigation project to serve 4 lakh acres of land to Warangal, Adilabad, Nalgonda, khammam and Karimnagar. Even provides drinking water facility to above districts. There is an accommodation for tourists and also you can visit Basara. Basara is famous Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. This project offers a pollution free environment and also boating facility. Godavari Pushkaralu is also held and most attractive place for tourists.

Nizamabad Fort :
Nizamabad Fort, also called as Nizamabad Quilla is one of the important historical monuments built by Rashtrakuta Kings in 10th century located in the Nizamabad district of Telangana. The fort standing at altitude of about 300 m and which the temple is spread over an area of 3.900 sq.ft.This place lies close to the Maharashtra state.
The fort surrounded by masonry walls with bastions at corners which looks like Muslim architecture. There is a temple which dedicated to Lord Rama within the fort compound built by Chatrapathi Shivaji. It has vast corridors, Mundaps and Mahamundaps.Even there is a small dargah at the top of the fort.

Kanteshwar Temple :
Kanteshwar Temple or Neela Kanteshwar Temple is an old ancient temple was built by Satakarni II popular of Satavahana King located in Kanteswara colony of Nizamabad Town. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Due to presence of blue throat, Lord Shiva gains the name of Neela Kanteshwara.
The temple constructed using nagara architecture. The Rathasapthami festival celebrated every here in Jan/Feb on a grand scale. Beauty of this festival was that the sun rays fall on the Shiva Linga on this particular day. Tourists visit this place on this day from different areas. Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary :
Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary is a home to animals and trekking place situated on both regions of Nizamabad and Medak districts. This sanctuary was established in 1952 and named after the Pocharam Lake. This forest place will be the favourite hunting ground for the Hyderabad Nizams. The
Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over an area of 130 sq Km.
This sanctuary was surrounded by lush green forest and adjacent to Pocharam Lake. Jankampet Lake :
